
A press release from London-Laurel Rescue Squad:
At approximately 4:19 p.m. the London-Laurel Rescue Squad responded to a lawn mower on top of a patient near John Parker Road. Rescue units stabilized the mower then removed mud and dirt using shovels and hand tools from under and around the patient to remove them safely.
The patient was flown out by medical helicopter. It was reported that the female had been trapped for 30 minutes before someone heard her and called 911. Also responding were Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, Lily Fire Dept., and PHI.
