One Man Injured In Shooting

Members of the Jackson Fire Department were called to a building on Main Street, at around 3:00 AM Wednesday morning. Upon their arrival, the firefighters found that one man had been shot.

 

By the time police had made it to the scene, the fire crew and victim were in a secure location with the victim already in the process of being treated. Officers cleared the home and surrounding area before discovering the suspect had taken off on foot.

 

The victim’s injuries were determined to be not life-threatening. No one else was injured.

 

Police say they have identified the suspect and are currently on the lookout. The names of the victim and suspect have yet to be released.
