Billy Gene Newsome, 70 of Pikeville, KY, passed away August 27, 2022 at his residence. Born March 22, 1952 in Pikeville, KY, he was the son of the late Jarvey & Pauline Bartley Newsome. Billy is survived by his wife, Debbie Reynolds Newsome. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Church of Christ.

Visitation will be after 6pm Tuesday (August 30, 2022) and all day Wednesday (August 31, 2022) at the Shelby Valley Church of Christ, Pikeville, KY with nightly services at 7pm

Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday (September 1, 2022) at the church with Greg Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Br. Cemetery, Pikeville, KY under the direction of Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin
