One person is now dead following a plane crash in Jacksboro on Monday afternoon.

 

Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Deputies as well as the Campbell County Emergency Management Agency responded to the report at around 12:50 PM.

 

The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that a single-engine Aeronca 7AC crashed near the Campbell County Airport on august 29th. The pilot is said to have been the only person on board.

 

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the incident. This is a developing story and we will update you as more information becomes available.
