Dorphan Slone, age 91, of Hindman, KY, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at the Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hindman, KY. He was born at Garner, Ky on April 14, 1931 to James Clifton Slone and Mattie Watts Slone.

Funeral services for Dorphan Slone will be held at Hindman Funeral Services Chapel, with DAV Military Rites, Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 2:00PM with Edsel Slone officiating. Burial will follow at the Nickles Cemetery at Hindman, KY. Visitation will be held at the Chapel Monday and Tuesday evening 6-9PM with services Tuesday at 7PM.
