Jack Alton Salyers, age 86 of Williamsport, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at his home after a long illness. Born on July 10, 1936 in Johnson County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Ray B. Salyer and Emerald (Picklesimer) Salyer.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville, Kentucky. Dwayne Greer and Mitchell Spradlin will officiate. Friends may visit at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00-9:00pm and on Tuesday after 9:00am until time of services at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions, in memory of Jack, be made to Community Hospice of Ashland, 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky (606) 329-1890. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
