A benefit concert will be held in Lexington to help those affected by the Eastern Kentucky flood.

On October 11, “Kentucky Rising” benefit concert will be held at Rupp Arena and will host performances by Chris Stapleton, Dwight Yoakam and Tyler Childers.

This event was organized in response to the tragic floods that happened earlier this summer in Kentucky.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, September 16.

All of the net proceeds from this event will go towards the “Kentucky Rising Fund”, in support of Eastern Kentucky flood relief and recovery. The “Kentucky Rising Fund” will support needs and long term recovery with the help from the Blue Grass
Community Foundation.
