Names Released For Victims Of Shooting In Paintsville

The name of the man who stands accused of killing three people last week in Paintsville was recently released.

 

21-year-old Ronnie Pack now faces charges, including three counts of murder and three counts of wanton endangerment.

 

Officials initially responded to a call concerning a shooting, at a home on Depot Road. The suspect was arrested following an officer-involved shooting.

 

Kentucky State Police Officials discovered three people who had sustained life-threatening injuries. All three individuals were pronounced dead on the scene by the Johnson County Coroner’s Office.

 

The victims were identified as 56-year-old Paula Wells, of Paintsville, 56-year-old Richard Mormon, of Paintsville, and 36-year-old Myrtle Pack, also of Paintsville.

 

No hearings have been scheduled to this point.

 

This investigation is still ongoing.
