Now, an update from the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department:

 

Deputies were conducting an investigation into illegal drug trafficking activities in the Ivel community when they encountered Michael Zienkiewicz age 30 of Pikeville.

 

During their investigation, deputies found Mr. Zienkiewicz in possession of Fentenyl, Heroin and Crystal Meth along with paraphernalia used in the distribution of illegal drugs.  Zienkiewicz was arrested and charged with:

 

(1)Possession of a controlled substance 1st meth

 

(2)Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st Heroin.

 

He was lodged in the Floyd  Co Jail.
