A sex-offender out of Breathitt County was arrested this past Wednesday after officials discovered he was living in Lawrence County.
Officials with the Kentucky State Police say that 66-year-old Buck Miller was living at a home on RT 707, outside of Louisa. He had previously reported living in Vancleve to the sex offender registry.
Troopers confronted Miller at the address in Lawrence County, where he allegedly told them he had only been at the home for a week. However, the resident of the home informed officials that Miller had been there for around five or six months.
Miller was then arrested and charged with failure to comply with the sex offender registry.
Miller was previously found guilty of one-count of rape in 1979 and two more counts of rape in 1996. The victims in those cases were 12 and 16-years-old.
