Ludmila Bozena “Ludy” Cassady, 79, Of Newark, OH passed away October 11, 2022, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. She was born May 12, 1943, in Prague, Republic of Czechoslovakia to the late Vladislav and Ludmila (Svecova) Svec.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Dave Pagura officiating. Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Cassady Cemetery in Inez, KY.
