Vernon Smith, age 62 of Garner, Kentucky, went to be with our Lord on Friday October 14, 2022, at his residence in Garner, Kentucky. He was born on December 3, 1959, in Hindman, Kentucky to the late Woodrow & Lydia Slone Smith.

Funeral Service for Vernon Smith will be Monday October 17, 2022, at 1PM at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, Kentucky with Brian Smith, Jamie Hughes & Eugene Thacker officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday October 15, 2022, from 6PM-10PM and Sunday October 16, 2022, from 10AM-10PM, here at the funeral home with service each evening at 7PM. Burial will follow at the Slone-Smith Cemetery at Garner, Kentucky.
