Officials are currently asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in an assault case.

 

The incident is said to have taken place early Sunday morning between 4 and 7:30 AM, in the East Morehead area of Rowan County.

 

The victim informed police that their attacker was a white man, standing around 6’ tall, with facial hair, who was last seen wearing a blue shirt, ball cap, and boots.
