William Johnny “Pops” Messer, age 77 of Fort Gay, WV, gained his angel wings on Thursday, October 20, 2022. Born November 14, 1944 on Marrowbone Creek, WV. He was the son of the late Victoria Farley and Alec Messer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Warfield Chapel of the Callaham Funeral Home in Warfield, KY with Paul Darrin Messer officiating. Friends may visit at the chapel on Monday from 6:00-9:00pm. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, KY.
