Charlene Newsome Hoover, age 75, of McDowell, KY, widow of Carlos Hoover, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born January 15, 1947, in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Jay Lee and Annie Hall Newsome.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 12 noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. CB Scott officiating. Visitation is from 2 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at funeral home and will continue after the service Thursday until 9 p.m., under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
