An update from Kentucky State Police

The Kentucky State Police have announced they have extended the deadline for state trooper applications through November 25th.

The agency has also announced that the top achieving applicants will have the chance to select the post of their choice. This allows applicants the chance to stay close to home.

Kentucky State Police offers one of the top five starting salaries for sworn officers in the state, with starting salary of $61,500 a year and an improved retirement system with a sick leave buyback program.
