Kentucky State Police have announced that they have charged a man from Madison County with Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses.

The Electronic Crime Branch of the Kentucky State Police arrested 26 year old Jose Miguel Guerrero on charges related to material of child sexual abuse.

Guerrero was arrested following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The investigation begun after Kentucky State Police discovered that Guerrerro possessed images of child sexual exploitation online.

The investigation led to an interview being conducted on October 27 at a business in Georgetown. The police seized the equipment that was used to facilitate the crime. The equipment was taken to the Kentucky State Police’s forensic laboratory for examination.

Guerrero was arrested and charged with one count of posessing or viewing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance. This is a Class-C Felony punishable by 5 to 10 years in prison. Guerrero was placed in the Scott County Detention Center.
