Harlan County Emergency Management officials announced on Facebook there is a water outage affecting the City of Evarts and Black Mountain Utility District customers.

Water distribution centers are open from 12 pm to 6 pm at Cloverfork Fire Department, Evarts Fire Department and Yocum Creek Fire Department.

City of Evarts officials in a post on their Facebook asked people to conserve water. A reason for the water outage was not provided.
