Raymond Bates, age 74 of Clear Creek, Kentucky, went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 31, 2022, at his residence in Clear Creek. He was born on January 16, 1948, in Virgie, Kentucky to the late Daniel and Lavesta Tackett Bates. He was the husband of Sue Bates.

Funeral Service for Raymond Bates will be Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 1PM at the Lotts Creek United Baptist Church in Lotts Creek, Kentucky with Cullen Caudill, David Jent and Charles Ed Smith officiating. Visitation will be held Friday November 4, 2022, after 6PM and anytime Saturday November 5, 2022, at the church with service each evening at 7PM. Burial will follow at the Bates Family Cemetery at Clear Creek, Kentucky.
