The suspect of a non-fatal shooting that took place in Breathitt County earlier this year was recently indicted by a grand jury.
Roy Fugate was indicted on charges of burglary, wanton endangerment, assault, criminal mischief, and tampering with physical evidence.
Firefighters from the Jackson Fire Department had responded to a building where they found Jason Lewis, who had been shot. After identifying Fugate as the suspect, police searched for weeks until finally finding and arresting him in Jackson.
He is currently being held in the Kentucky River Regional Detention Center, in Hazard, on a $25,000 cash bond.
