
One man from Eastern Kentucky now faces charges after he allegedly stole an ambulance from the Pikeville Medical Center.
According to police, the suspect, 35-year-old Steven Reynolds of Mouthcard, stole an ambulance from the emergency room entrance of the Pikeville Medical Center this morning and drove it across the county before he was captured by law enforcement.
Police were able to locate Reynolds by using the GPS unit inside the ambulance. He was arrested in the Feds Creek Area by Pike County sheriff’s deputies who were stationed at East Ridge High School.
Deputies found a ziplock bag of marijuana on Reynolds when they took him into custody.
He is charged with possession of marijuana and theft by unlawful taking.
