An update from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office:

 

Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Wes Brown along with K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler and Deputy Zach Allen arrested William R. Hodges, JR age 49 of London on Monday evening November 7, 2022 at approximately 6:39 PM. 

 

The arrest occurred at a residence off Cole Road, approximately 1 mile west of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there. Upon arrival at the scene deputies contacted a female subject and learned that a male subject had allegedly strangled her and assaulted a child there. Red marks were observed around her neck.William Hodges, JR was charged with strangulation – first-degree; assault – 4th   degree; and a second assault 4th   degree charge – child abuse. 

 

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
