One man is now facing a multitude of charges following a multi-county chase with law enforcement.
The incident began in Gerrard County, early Thursday morning, when Paul Brown is said to have pulled his son out of a truck and then drove away.
A deputy performed a traffic stop on Brown in connection to a report of suspicious behavior. Brown is said to have sped off and allegedly tried to run over the deputy. A chase ensued that went through Stanford at around 2:00 AM.
Police say Brown then began driving towards Danville while going west in the eastbound lane of US-150.
In junction City, officers say that Brown stopped his vehicle and then ran off. He was taken to the ground, but police say that he resisted them before finally being brought under control and handcuffed.
Brown was additionally wanted on a charge out of Boyle County from a week prior. He is currently being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center on charges related to the chase.
