Several fire departments Tuesday Afternoon responded to a fire call in Rockcastle County.

According to the Mount Vernon Fire Department Facebook page, the department received a call from the Brindle Ridge Fire Department to assist them combat a fire that was in the northern part of the county.

The fire had reached a nearby car when fire crews arrived on the scene.

Firefighters who were on the scene have said that with the combined efforts of both departments and the Brodhead Fire Department, the fire was extinguished in under 11 minutes.

It’s reported that no one sustained any injuries.
