The Pikeville Post of the Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal crash in Floyd County that happened Tuesday.

According to troopers, two pickups crashed into each other Tuesday night, just before 7 pm on KY-114.

Kentucky State Police say a Nissan pickup truck was hit by a Dodge pickup after the driver of the dodge truck crossed the centerline.

67 year old Irvine Doss of Forest Hills, who was driving the Nissan, was pronounced dead at the scene. 48 year old Carolyn Gibson was also killed in the incident. She was a passenger in the Dodge Truck.

Kentucky State Police are continuing their investigation.
