Douglas Dwayne Martin, age 54 of Grethel, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at his residence. He was born April 25, 1968 in McDowell, Kentucky to Janet Martin Compton and the late Otto Compton. Along with his mother he is survived by his Son: Jacob Martin of Grethel, Kentucky; Daughter: Mercedes Martin of Pikeville, Kentucky; Brothers: Leonard Compton of Harold, Kentucky & Steve Compton of Grethel, Kentucky; Sister: Donna Hall of Grethel, Kentucky; Stepbrothers & Stepsisters: Gary Compton of Texas, Larry Compton of Martin, Kentucky, John Compton of Ohio, Inze Frasure of Galveston, Kentucky & Bernice Yates of Honaker, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Arya Collins & Alivia Collins. Along with his father he was preceded in death by his Sister: Diane Martin.

Visitation will begin Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 6pm at the church and will continue all day Friday, December 16, 2022

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1pm at Pilgrims Home Old Regular Baptist Church, Grethel, Kentucky with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating

Burial will follow at Long Point Cemetery, Mink Branch, Craynor, Kentucky
