Laurel County Man Arrested On Multiple Warrants After Allegedly Jumping Towards Traffic On Roadway

An update from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office:

 

Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Wes Brown arrested 35-year-old Logan K. Martin, of London, on Saturday evening December 10, 2022 at approximately 7:17 PM. 

 

The arrest occurred on Hawk Creek Road, approximately 7 miles west of London after Deputy Brown was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject standing in the roadway- jumping at cars. Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Brown located the suspect standing in the middle of the roadway. Upon turning his flashing blue lights on, Deputy Brown noted that the suspect attempted to run- jumping into a dog pen before being captured. This individual was determined to be under the influence. In addition, it was learned this subject had two outstanding warrants. 

 

Logan Martin was charged with Public intoxication – controlled substances. In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court for arraignment on charges of criminal trespassing – first-degree; resisting arrest. Also, the subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of assault – 4th   degree; resisting arrest; fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot. 

 

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
