A fire that broke out over the weekend left an office building in Bell County destroyed.

 

Just after 6:20 AM on Sunday morning, firefighters with the Bell County Volunteer Fire Department were called to the offices of the Bell County Coal Company, on Highway 72, just outside of Middlesboro.

 

Several departments came together in an effort to fight the flames. The building was unable to be saved.

 

No one is said to have been injured during the fire.

 

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
