A man out of Pike County was arrested following a brief chase with law enforcement.

Troopers with the Kentucky State Police responded to a tip concerning the location of 26-year-old Josh Allen, who was wanted on several warrants.

Allen was found driving along US 23, at Shelby Valley. Troopers attempted a traffic stop, but Allen refused to stop. That prompted a short chase with police, with Allen eventually pulling over.

He was arrested, with troopers discovering meth, marijuana, and pills within his vehicle, alongside two firearms. Allen allegedly admitted to owning all of the items.

Alle now faces charges of trafficking in meth, marijuana, and pills, along with fleeing police and a couple traffic violations.
