The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public of a phone scam of someone claiming to be with the Circuit Judge Office.

Perry County residents have informed the Perry County Sheriff’s Office that they have been receiving calls from someone who claims to be with Honorable Circuit Judge Alison Wells Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said that no one from the courts or law enforcement will ever call requesting money over the phone to pay fines. They ask that anyone who receives this call to hang up immediately and to never share your financial or personal information.
