6 A.M. UPDATE: Folks, roads are treacherous and several crashes took place overnight. Please stay off the roads if you can do so. KYTC Snowfighters continue treating and plowing state routes across the Commonwealth. Temperatures plummeted overnight which means treatments like salt and calcium chloride can’t do much to help melt ice or snow.

If you must travel, please take extra caution on your commute. Check your route using goky.ky.gov or WAZE, leave early, take it SLOW and give yourself plenty of space between other vehicles.
