A man who was being held on multiple felony charges- and had escaped from a behavioral health hospital in Columbus, was arrested near Chapmanville, WV, on Sunday evening.

 

Jacob Davidson was arrested just after 11:30 PM.

 

Davidson is said to have escaped from the Twin Valley Behavioral Health Hospital in Columbus, on Thursday, December 29th. He was being held at the facility in relation to an officer-involved shooting that took place in November, in Morrow County, Ohio.

 

Upon the man’s escape, troopers announced that he should be considered dangerous.

 

The United States Marshals Service, West Virginia State Police, Knox County Sheriff’s Office and Detective Bureau, Licking County Sheriff’s Office, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, and the Columbus Division of Police all contributed to Davidson’s arrest.
