The Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame would like to announce its 2023 “Glory Road” project. The goal of the project is to recognize and honor the many gymnasiums across the bluegrass that have historical significance in the development of the cultural phenomenon that is Kentucky High School basketball.

The Prestonsburg High School gymnasium, known as Prestonsburg Field House, will be recognized and honored by the Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame, as the “Glory Road” game will take place at Prestonsburg High School on Friday, February 3rd.

The game will be between the Prestonsburg Blackcats and the Floyd Central Jaguars. The Girls game will be at 6:30, with introductions between the girls and boys games. Teams from both schools who won regional Tournaments in the 1960’s will be recognized.
