A Woman from Logan County, West Virginia was arrested on Sunday after she was found walking in the middle of the roadway.

Deputy Carter and Deputy Daniels with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Sunday of  a woman walking in the middle of the road in the Dingess area. 

The woman, Samantha Sperry, was belligerent during the arrest and became violent towards police.

She has been charged with 3 counts of Battery on Officer, Assault on Officer, Disorderly Conduct, Pedestrian in Roadway, Public Intoxication, 2 counts of Obstructing and refusal to give fingerprints.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office made the announcement with the disclaimer that defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
