
An update from the Harlan County Sheriff’s Department:
On Friday January 13th, the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office assisted Probation and Parole officers on a home visit at a residence located on Water tank Road in the Closplint community. Upon arrival, officers observed a female subject later identified as Ashley Cobb throw a bag out the back door that is believed to be Methamphetamine.
As entry was made into the residence, several subjects were quickly detained throughout the residence. A large bag with crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine was found in the sink of the kitchen as well as a crystal like residue in the tub of the sink. It is alleged that Linda Taylor was attempting to destroy evidence as entry was made into the residence. Several bags of suspected methamphetamine and heroin were found in the residence.
Linda Taylor was arrested and charged with Trafficking in controlled substance – 1st degree (Methamphetamine) greater than 2GMS., Tampering with physical evidence and drug paraphernalia buy/possess.
RC Henry was arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance – 1st degree, 2nd offense – (Methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia buy/possess.
Ashley Cobb was arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance – 1st degree(methamphetamine) and Tampering with physical evidence.
Amy Gross was arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance – 1st degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of a controlled substance – 1st degree (Heroin) and Possession of a controlled substance – 2nd degree.
