The Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is looking for volunteers for the annual K-Count, Kentucky’s statewide count of individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The count helps Kentucky  better understand the need for more affordable housing and support services. The count will take place this Wednesday at the Big Sandy Arena and Thursday at the river bank behind Paintsville City Hall. 

HomePlace Clinic’s Mobile Medical Unit will be available to provide COVID-19 vaccinations. $40 gift cards are available for anyone who receives a vaccine that day. 

Those who are currently suffering from homelessness are encouraged to take part in the K-Count to make their voices heard. Resources for housing and outreach grab bags will also be available.  For information on the K-Count or homeless resources call 606-788-9789 or email Housing@mtcomp.org
