A man out of Pike County was arrested after allegedly stabbing his uncle multiple times.

The incident happened at around 6:00 PM on Sunday. The uncle went to the home of 40-year-old Jeremy Johnson, in Mouthcard, in order to retrieve a pickup truck he claimed had been stolen.

The uncle is said to have informed police that Johnson punched through the screen door in an effort to hit him. The uncle then attempted to walk away, but Johnson allegedly knocked the man to the ground before punching, kicking, and eventually stabbing him in the back.

The uncle sustained stab wounds to his upper back, the back of his head, and the interior of his right ear. Officers made note that blood could be seen outside of the home, with none inside.

Johnson was arrested on  a charge of first-degree assault. He was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
