Roy Sturgill, age 29, of Greenup, KY, passed away February 1, 2023. He was born March 15, 1993 in Columbus, OH to Seymour and Betty Sturgill. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Mia Hensley and Peyton Sturgill, both of Marion, OH, four brothers, Seymour “CC” Sturgill of North Carolina, and Caleb Sturgill, Jeremiah Sturgill, and Gavin Sturgill, all of Greenup, KY, and one sister, Jessica Hamilton of Greenup, KY. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 1 PM at the Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Short Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Thursday from 1 PM until the time of services on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
