Harold Ramey, Jr. 84 of Mouthcard, KY passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at his residence. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Homecreek Old Regular Baptist Church.

Harold was born February 06, 1939 at Mouthcard, KY to the late John Henry Ramey and Florence Taylor Ramey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Flora Ramey, a daughter, Tabatha Bartley, a brother, Leman Ramey and sisters, Myrtle Ramey, Brooksey Hackney, Drushey Ramey, Luttie Wright, Ruth Scott, Nell Harrison and Mary & Marie Ramey.

Harold is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Thacker Ramey of Mouthcard, KY; a son, Randy Ramey of Bristol, TN; two daughters, Melissa Adkins of Blaine, KY and Greta Ramey of Kingsport, TN; two grandchildren, Shania Ramey and Joshua Lester; and one great-grandchild, Jossalyn Pearl Counts. He is also survived by two brothers, Bill Ramey of Richmond, KY and Carmel Ramey of Lick Creek, KY.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Thursday, February 9, and Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2PM from the chapel with James Wright and others officiating. Burial will follow at the Ramey Family Cemetery, Mouthcard, KY.
