Wayne County Woman Arrested After Allegedly Pointing Gun At Deputy

An update from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office:

 

According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron a Waynesburg, Ky. female has been arrested after threatening several individuals and pointing a handgun at a Deputy Sheriff.

 

On February 27, 2023, at approximately 10:05 am Deputy Cody Neal responded to a verbal argument complaint at the Valley View Trailer Park on Kelley Lane Road. Upon Deputy Neal arriving at the trailer park location he learned that the argument started between family members after one of them was asked to leave the property. The female individual was located by Deputy Neal sitting inside a van parked on the property. This female was screaming loudly at everyone while continuously using foul language. Deputy Neal advised the female she needed to leave the property as requested by the other family members living there. The female then pulled a handgun from the center compartment of the vehicle, stating “I’m taking my gun with me.” While pulling the handgun from the compartment the female pointed it towards Deputy Neal. Deputy Neal then physically removed the female from the vehicle as she continued resisting his commands.

 

Deputy Neal charged and arrested Rosanna M. Gregory of Waynesburg, Ky. for menacing, terroristic threatening-3rd degree, disorderly conduct-2nd degree  and resisting arrest.

Gregory was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
