London Man Arrested On Eight Charges Following Traffic Stop

An update from the City of London Police Department:

 

A London man is facing eight charges, including possession of drugs and driving on a DUI suspended license, following his arrest on March 9.

 

David D. Holt, 41, of Taylor School Road, London, was arrested at 2:57 p.m. on North McWhorter Street by London Police Ofc. Wes Wolfe, assisted by Ofc. Brent France.

 

According to Ofc. Wolfe’s arrest report, he pulled over a vehicle driven by Holt for a busted taillight and other traffic offenses. Upon contact with Holt, he detected a strong odor of marijuana.

 

While searching the vehicle, Ofc. Wolfe found a glass pipe containing residue believed to be methamphetamine, several plastic baggies of suspected methamphetamine, and a plastic container containing suspected methamphetamine in Holt’s pocket.

 

Holt was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, driving on a DUI suspended license and other traffic offenses.
