The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services announced that Kentucky SNAP recipients who were affected by recent storms can request replacement benefits from now through Thursday, March 23.

According to officials, Kentucky Households that lost food that was purchased with their SNAP benefits due to the storms that occurred on March 3rd can request replacement through March 23rd.

If you are a SNAP recipient who lost food that was bought using snap due a power outage that lasted at least 4 hours because of heavy rain, hail and strong winds, you can call the Department for Community Based Services at 855-306-8959 to request replacement benefits.
