The Hillside Theater in Hazard is slowly opening back up after closing its doors in 2020 due to COVID-19.

The theater is still located off of Morton Blvd in Hazard, next to Ponderosa. Now under new management, The theater began their soft reopening with showings of Scream VI on Friday, with the grand reopening of the theater set for Friday, April 24th.
