The American Red Cross is looking for AmeriCorps members to serve a one year term supporting community recovery efforts following the flood that impacted Eastern Kentucky back in July.

The American Red Cross’ goal is to prevent and alleviate suffering in the face of emergencies through volunteers and the generosity of donors. They also help people recover and address community needs. Service opportunities are available in Jackson, Hazard, Hindman, Pikeville and Whitesburg.
