Johnson Central High School announced that it has moved the graduation date for the Class of 2023 to May 25th.

According to Johnson Central Principal Justin Arms, The date was moved to Thursday, May 25th, from its original date of Friday, May 26th, because there was a conflict with families who have students graduating from both Johnson Central and Paintsville High School.

The decision was made so parents don’t have to choose between which graduation to attend and can attend both.

Johnson Central will host their graduation on Thursday, May 25th at 7 pm at Coach Jim Matney Field. Saturday, May 27th has been set as a contingency date.
