
The Perry County Fiscal Court announced they will be hosting their second and final lifeguard training session this Saturday and Sunday.
The training session will be held in the second flood courtroom at the old courthouse in downtown Hazard from 9am to 4pm on Saturday and from 9am to 2pm at the Pavilion on Sunday.
Training cost $250 with the certification lasting two years. Participants must be 16 by the end of the training.
Those interested must sign-up in person at Judge Alexander’s office, which is located on the first floor of the old courthouse.
