The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office announced they will be conducting safety checkpoints at various times across Lawrence County.

Officials with the sheriff’s office said the checkpoints are an effort to crack down on driving under the influence and to ensure compliance with vehicle equipment safety and registration laws and operator’s licenses laws.

The checkpoints will be held at approved locations. The sheriff’s office would like to remind the public “Click it or Ticket”.
