A man out of Martin County has been convicted on federal child porn charges after a three-day trial.

60 year old Donald York of Beauty was found guilty on Wednesday on four counts of producing child pornography and two counts of distributing child porn.

York was charged with enticing a young girl or multiple girls to engage in sexual activity, with four occasions recorded by him in 2019 and 2020. 

The jury returned with a guilty verdict on all six charges after deliberating for less than three hours.

York’s sentencing hearing is set for August where he faces 15 to 30 years in prison for the charges of producing child porn and 5 to 20 years for distributing the child porn. 

He is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
