The Garrett Area Fire Department announced they are organizing a raffle in order to raise money to buy dress clothes for fire department members to attend the memorial service of Phillip Caudill, a fallen firefighter, this October in Frankfort.

Officials with the fire department said they are doing the raffle because they don’t want to spend taxpayer dollars for dress clothes and that money from taxpayers will be used for firefighting equipment.

The drawing is for 4 tickets to a Cincinnati Reds game and 4 tickets to the Cincinnati Zoo. Raffle tickets are $2 for one ticket or three tickets for $5.

The drawing will be held on June 7th. Tickets can be purchased at The Garrett Fountain and Rustic Roots Variety Store!
