The Pikeville Post of the Kentucky State Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenage girl from Pike County.

Kentucky State Police Post 9 are searching for 15 year old Kyra Blankenship of Stopover. Police were contacted on Thursday, May 4th concerning the disappearance of Blankenship, who was last seen the day before at her home in Stopover.

Blankenship is described as being a white female who stands at 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 110 pounds, and having black hair and blue eyes. She also has a tattoo of three small hearts on her right hand.

Police ask that anyone with information concerning Kyra Blankenship’s location to call Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post at 606-433-7711.

The investigation into her disappearance is ongoing.
